COOKIES POLICY
Al Ayman · alayman.ae
Effective Date: 01 October 2026
This Cookies Policy explains how Al Ayman Services Gateway L.L.C-FZ ("Al Ayman", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on alayman.ae, our mobile applications and related Platform services.
This Policy should be read together with the Privacy Policy. Where a cookie or similar technology involves processing personal data, that processing is handled in accordance with applicable UAE data protection law.
2. Categories We May Use
Depending on the Platform feature and the User's choices, Al Ayman may use the following categories:
- Strictly necessary and security technologies — used for login, authentication, session management, security, fraud prevention, load management and other functions required to provide or protect the Platform.
- Preference and functional technologies — used to remember choices such as language, location or service-area preferences, interface settings and other requested functionality.
- Analytics and performance technologies — used to understand how the Platform is used, diagnose errors, measure performance and improve features.
- Marketing or advertising technologies — used, if enabled, to measure campaigns or provide promotional or advertising functionality.
Not every category is necessarily active at all times. Al Ayman may change the specific technologies used as the Platform develops, subject to this Policy and applicable consent requirements.
3. When Consent Is Used
Technologies that are necessary to provide a service requested by the User, maintain security or perform essential Platform functions may operate without an optional cookie consent choice where permitted by applicable law.
Where consent is required for analytics, marketing or other non-essential technologies, Al Ayman will request that consent before activating the relevant technology. Users may refuse or later withdraw such consent without losing access to functions that do not depend on that technology.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
5. Third-Party Technologies
Al Ayman may use third-party service providers to support functions such as authentication and communications, payment processing for Providers, hosting and infrastructure, maps or location functionality, analytics, security and error monitoring, and customer support.
Some of these providers may set or access cookies, SDK data or similar identifiers when necessary to provide their service. The providers and technologies used may change over time. We therefore do not treat a fixed list of vendor names or technical cookie names as part of this Policy unless disclosure of a specific provider is required by law or is material to the User's choices.
Where third-party technology processes personal data, the processing and any international transfer are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable UAE data protection requirements.
6. Analytics
If Al Ayman uses optional analytics technologies that require consent, they will be activated only after the required consent has been obtained. Analytics may be used to understand visits, feature usage, navigation, app performance and technical errors.
Where reasonably possible, Al Ayman may use aggregated, de-identified or privacy-protective analytics methods to reduce the amount of identifiable information processed.
7. Marketing and Advertising
Al Ayman does not need to use advertising or retargeting technologies merely to operate the core marketplace. If marketing or advertising technologies that require consent are introduced, they will be subject to the relevant consent controls before activation.
Marketing communications such as promotional email or SMS are governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable communication preferences; they are not automatically authorised merely because a User accepts cookies.
8. Retention
Cookies and similar technologies are retained for periods appropriate to their purpose. Some expire when the browser or app session ends, while others may remain for a defined period to remember preferences, maintain security or measure Platform use.
Data generated through these technologies may be retained separately from the cookie or identifier itself where reasonably necessary for security, analytics, legal or operational purposes. Personal data retention is governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Where a consent interface provides information about a specific technology or category, the duration shown there should reflect the configuration actually in use.
9. International Processing
Some technology providers may process data outside the United Arab Emirates. Where this involves a transfer of personal data, Al Ayman will use a transfer mechanism and safeguards permitted by applicable UAE data protection law, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Al Ayman does not represent that a transfer mechanism used under another country's privacy law automatically satisfies UAE transfer requirements.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the Platform, technologies, providers, legal requirements or our practices change. The current version and effective date will be made available through the Platform.
If a change introduces a new non-essential processing activity for which consent is required, we will obtain the required consent before activating that activity for the User.
11. General
This Policy is prepared in English and may be translated into other languages for convenience and accessibility. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the English version will be used to interpret differences between translations. This does not override any mandatory Arabic-language requirement or the requirements of a competent UAE court or authority.
